Well, we... read more We 've walked by this place sooo often each time it was packed. We loved the ambiance, the look feel of a welcoming comfortable outdoor country lounge. Well, we finally had a chance to come in for lunch, although it was really hot breezy we sat inside there wasn 't outdoor seating available inside the was a cool looking place, hip, loungy ..(sp). The food was amazing, the steak salad, wow! I had a bite or 3 from my wife 's, I ordered breakfast! It was also really delicious! We will for sure be bk! My only thing was that it was FREEZING cold inside! So if you 're in the mood for a fun outdoor or indoor country lounge atmosphere, I recommend you come to Small Barn! We started... read more The service was friendly, but I did find myself waiting a bit longer than expected—around 30 to 40 minutes—despite being with just one other person. We started with the Herb Pomme Frites, which resembled truffle fries and came with a delicious sauce. While the fries were pretty standard, the sauce was incredibly tasty and full of flavor. I ordered a burger with a side of fries, but I wasn't a huge fan of it; I found it a bit too salty for my taste. The saltiness overshadowed the meat and made the rest of the flavors seem bland. Nevertheless, I'm definitely open to returning for dinner, as I imagine the atmosphere would be even more enchanting at night. I also regret not trying the ube French toast, which sounded tempting!

Service was great it was early in the day, but it could get busy lots of seating area in their beautiful garden outside. Ambience chill and relaxing.

I honestly was 30 min late and the staff complained about it but still decided to give me service. I apologized for being late. Sadly they sat me in the smallest table near the restrooms and then my food came 45 min late but cold. I asked for the manager, manager was so unprofessional and confrontational to me that made my wife uncomfortable. We tried to reason with them and manager was yelling at my ear that the reason why my food was late and cold was due to my negligence of being tardy to my reservation. From what I know, customer service should not act unprofessional and uncivilized. If you want a great time , spend your money elsewhere. -Kyle

They were out of the wine I wanted to order and didn't have any Bloody Marys available, but at the end of our meal, the staff brought us a delightful dessert to make up for the inconvenience. Now that's what I call great customer service! They even relocated our table to avoid the sun. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent! If you're in Temecula, this place is a must-visit!
