We had an incredible dinner last night at Side Work. Sky provided excellent service from beginning to end, and the food was fantastic. Our hotel concierge recommended this place as his favorite in town, and now we understand why! View all feedback.
What david parry dislikes about Side Work:
This has been our second visit to this restaurant and, overall, it has been a good experience. Some of the food items are excellent and some are average. I've been very disappointed in their cocktails. I've tried their listed cocktails and an unlisted old fashioned. The old fashioned was undrinkable, so they need to do something about their beverage service. The ambiance is small but pleasant. Service has been averag... View all feedback.

We love Sidework! I think their fish dishes are amazing; the cocktails are fun; and we try to come there every time we’re in Telluride.
We were graciously helped by lovely “Sky”. She was informative, professional& friendly. I Our food did not disappoint. Hamachi was a poem! Chicken meatballs delish!
We LOVE Sidework-for appetizers don’t miss the ceviche, peach and burrata and hamachi. Main courses- the tomahawk steak, branzino and the risotto with shrimp are all to die for!!! Service was efficient and friendly- love this place!
Branzino entree was very nicely prepared. Enough to share from 2. Hamachi crudo was excellent. Salad with blueberries was messy to eat.

Fantastic meal and a great atmosphere; highly recommend the grilled octopus and the peaches/burrata. Definitely a top restaurant in Telluride!
We had an AMAZING dinner at Side Work! Our faves included the perfectly cooked octopus, wonderful fresh oysters, peaches and burrata, and s'mores brownie! The atmosphere was upscale relaxed, we didn't feel judged or out of place having our kids join (they are 7-10 and love a nice dinner out)! Definitely a wonderful place to treat yourself!
Bronzino was by far the best meal I had in the month I spent in Telluride. Good price performance. Sit outside if you can- inside a little cramped and hot. Great service and pretty view.
Overall our experience was just OK. The appetizers were amazing, but a couple of entrees fell short. The steak and the fish options were very good. The duck was not cooked properly for all three people at our table who ordered it. The duck fat was not rendered as customarily prepared. Our server was not pleasant. Possibly was having a bad day....?? We as a group are easily entertained and tend to be fun and easy going. I'm not planning to return. We had a phenomenal meal at Kazahana earlier in the week. The two experiences couldn't have been any different.

This restaurant is extremely pretentious without any justification. The food is mediocre, even by mountain town standards. I ordered an espresso martini, which was advertised online, but it turned out to be the worst one I've ever had because it wasn't even made with real espresso. The host made me feel unwelcome, even though I was dressed similarly to everyone else and have paid double the amount at other places. The one-star review is deserved for the host alone, but the entire experience was disappointing.
This restaurant is on the pricier side in Telluride, but the food is excellent. They offer heated cocoons outside that can be reserved when booking a table, providing a cozy and private dining experience. The menu has a good variety of options and the chefs aren't shy about using bold flavors. I would definitely recommend dining here.
I walked into the restaurant dressed similarly to others but was immediately made to feel unwelcome. The host hinted that I may have confused this place with the brewery next door, which struck me as quite rude. Given the average prices on the menu and the casual atmosphere, I was surprised by the dismissive treatment. Additionally, I found out that the owner charges guests for their employees' health insurance, which raised some red flags for me. As a chef with 14 years of experience, I would never approve of such treatment toward customers. Initially, I had intended to just enjoy a cocktail, but if the service had been better, I might have ended up ordering oysters, a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board, entrees, or other items from the menu.
The food and service we experienced in Telluride were the best we've ever had. I have numerous food allergies, but Jim managed everything perfectly! Everything was incredible, and I can't wait to return!
Fantastic restaurant with delicious food! The atmosphere was wonderful, and it was clear that it was a favorite among locals. It was one of, if not the best, meals we enjoyed on our road trip out west from Chicago. Although it leans on the expensive side, the excellent service and food make it well worth it!

Great dinner this evening the setting, the service, and the food were all wonderful.
We made a fantastic discovery in Telluride! The service was excellent, and the decor was lovely. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend trying it!
I had an enjoyable meal and experience at the restaurant. The cocktail menu is both creative and intriguing, so I recommend starting with one of those. I had heard that their Hamachi dish was award-winning, and I can confirm it was absolutely delicious. When I inquired about it, I learned that it had won Best of Show at the Telluride Food Festival earlier this year, and I completely believe it. However, the Palisade Peach salad was somewhat misleading. The peaches used were from California, not Colorado, and there were only three tiny slices in the salad—nothing special about it at all. On a brighter note, the branzino and couscous were good and not overly heavy. I was pleased to see the chef actively participating by serving as a runner and delivering food as his team prepared it. The wine selection by the glass was also impressive. The ambiance was pleasant, and the decor was nice. Overall, Side Work is definitely worth a return visit.

Beautiful ambiance, lovely service and moreover truly AMAZING food. We will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Tldr: good food, very subpar service. Will not return because of the service. We walked in and there was nobody to greet us, and we awkwardly stood there another 10-15 minutes until someone finally asked us if we had a reservation. Once we got seated, we waited 15 minutes before we flagged a waiter down to put in a drink order. Waited another 10 minutes before we got the drinks and could order food. We planned on doing dinner and drinks tonight, but because the meal took 2.5 hrs we had to call it a night . So tough because our food and drinks were awesome!!
Side Work is a bit of a hidden gem that my husband and I absolutely adore. The food is always outstanding, and the service is just as impressive. We were particularly fond of the hamachi and the oysters, and the corn risotto is the best we’ve ever tasted. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Restaurant Review: I had a delightful dining experience for dinner at this restaurant. The overall cost came to over $100 per person, and it was worth every penny. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was also top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff, which also deserves a 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, creating a warm and inviting environment, so I rated it a 5 as well. Highly recommend!

The cozy atmosphere of this restaurant sets the perfect tone for a enjoyable dining experience. The food is top-notch and paired perfectly with a wide selection of wines. The staff, while dressed casually, provide excellent service to all tables. The prices are a bit high, especially with the unexpected "Working Health" service fee. In the end, it was a satisfying experience overall.
I arrived without a reservation at this restaurant with lovely decor and a nice menu. I ordered a cheese and sausage board, which was beautifully presented, and the shrimp dish was also delicious. The service was exceptional; I even had to ask the people at the neighboring table to scoot over a bit as they were too close.
This restaurant falls on the higher end of the price scale in Telluride, but the food was quite good. They also have heated "funny cocoons" outside that you can request to enhance your dining experience, which I personally believe would be better than sitting inside as they are cozier and more private. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the chefs are not afraid to experiment with refreshing flavors. I would recommend giving it a try.
Doesn't look so much when you are covered with the windows and a privacy curtain as soon as you go in the door, but our group was immediately welcomed and offered a cocktail menu. We had no reservation and the place was full! We sat in about 20min, they put together some tables for us next to a stand, was a perfect table. We ordered the charcuterie board with Duck Terrine, Coppa Salami, Camembert Cheese with Jelly and Manchego. Chili Shrimp Cocktail and Hamachi appetizers. The charcuterie was immaculate, like Hamachi, the shrimp cocktail was amazing as well as just slightly overcooked and enough cocktail sauce for everyone in the restaurant. (Not bad) In our group we ordered the Braised Short Rib, Pork Chops, Lobster Mac-n-Cheese and the whole Branzino. Our group is big when sharing, so we all have to taste a few bites of the plates. I ordered the Branzino (Pictured) and let us just say you will be very happy with this choice, perfectly cooked and seasoned, Moroccan cousin and peas tomatoes accompanied the dish (Worth picking through the bones). The Pork Chop (Pictured) and Short Rib were solid and perfectly cooked again. I would recommend a reservation because it is limited and intimate seating. Our server Patrick was amazing above the top and really made us feel like old friends. If you're lucky to have him at your table, you're really for a great treat!
Absolutely incredible! The greenhouse was amazingly complete with heating and speakers for our own private restaurants. We were blessed with a snowfall that made the experience more fun. The cook is incredible, Michelin trained and studied worldwide, can change almost everything according to your wishes or needs. With a family of specific nutritional restrictions (medical not preferred), this brought so much lightness, which can otherwise be a bit stressful. The food was divine and variety expansive, so everyone can enjoy. We found this jewel on an open table and we were incredibly excited! Very recommended! We had our teenagers and 12 years old in tow.
