Amazing meal. Once we found the restaurant, we sipped on an aviation at the bar until our reservation time. Kenny is a world of knowledge about liquor. We had the fois gras (perfection) and the lamb. Best French restaurant this side of Paris. The chocolate torte finished the meal. I highly recommend it. We will be back. View all feedback.
What Θεόδουλος Προδρόμου doesn't like about Ania's Table:
Ania’s Table is a hidden gem in Mountain Village/Telluride! Ania (chef) and her husband Kenny (sommelier and server) are personally involved in every detail of the dining process and really make it a personal and intimate experience. They share stories of their world travels and culinary insights into every food and wine pairings, which adds to the overall enjoyment of the dinner. Selecting your dinner choices a day... What a lovely way to spend the evening with family and friends! Kenny and Ania were the consulate hosts, and the food was the ultimate delight. The ambiance was lovely with a roaring fire where you could sit and enjoy a beverage before your meal. The ever-changing menu felt really curated and seasonal, and we can’t wait to come back again!
We booked a table at Ania 's Table without knowing anything about the restaurant other than what we had read on OpenTable. My wife has been coming to Telluride for years, had eaten everywhere in and around time many times over, and had her list of favorites; as a relatively new restaurant, Ania 's was not on that list. So we didn 't know what to expect when we showed up. This turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Telluride, and one of the best dining experiences we 've had in years (and we 've been eating our way through Italy, New York, California, etc. over the past year). The ambiance was elegant and cozy (there were only 4 tables) at our seating though not in the typical mountain style one often encounters at ski resorts. And the menu was unique and personalized (Ania cooks everything to each individual 's request): standouts were the amazing foie gras that was prepared immediately before being brought to the table, the miso sake marinated broiled black cod, and the butter lettuce salad with an exquisite herb champagne vinaigrette. And Ania 's husband is not just a terrific sommelier, but also a gregarious raconteur, who enlivens the experience with his explanations of the wine pairings as well as with his encyclopedic knowledge of 1970 's punk rock and new wave. All we can say is that if you don 't book this restaurant now, you may never get a chance to experience what we experienced, as this won 't be kept a secret much longer.
Our family was blown away by this little gem of a restaurant. The service was charming and personal. They were very sensitive to a severe food allergy of one of our party. The wine suggestions were excellent. The filet of beef was deemed the best ever had. If you visit Telluride, it 's not to be missed!
Best food in Telluride hands down. Ania is a genius cook. Her ribeye and bread pudding were absolute heaven.
Amazing experience food is exceptional and wine list quite extensive. Only complaint would be to make sure wine is poured with the dinner as opposed to almost afterwards. Small operation and just super special.
