Tried all three lovely beers. Just had time for food, which was very high quality Sama y quinoa y curry verde, and MrsMoosehead had arros con carabineros. Not massive portions like some restaurants around here, but plenty and not packed out with chips or the like. Just a glimpse of fine dining in the rural Tejeda Only a shame that they aren't open late, but economics of day visitors makes that understandable. Will be back

They offer their menus in 5+ languages which is really nice, since we were used to spanish menu... read more So while visiting Tejeda we stopped at Texeda brewery for lunch. They offer their menus in 5+ languages which is really nice, since we were used to spanish menus throughout the island. I tried the signature canary food, called Ropa vieja, which is made from slow cooked goat meat and chickpeas. It was delicious, comes topped with cooked egg. It's really something different at goes along really well with their wheat beer which they brew at home. Prices are fair and the waiter was really nice. If you are in Tejeda, it's a must visit !

We each tried different things from the... read more Booked here for a late (for us) lunch on a Sunday whilst staying at the local Parador, wanting a taste of local cuisine. We each tried different things from the menu and each course offered something different, a twist on convention. This was fine dining without the fussiness of many places. Tejeda is a bit off the beaten track, but this place is well worth visiting.
