My husband ordered a steak which was undercooked it was raw on inside he complained and it was cooked again I got a rice meal but very small potion We got a seat next to window with many flies please don’t sit there The service was good though
Monday mid afternoon in February. The resteraunt was reassuringly busy but the serving staff really made us feel awkward and uncomfortable. A real shame as Tejeda is a wonderful place to visit. Loads of other more welcoming places to spend time and money within yards of this joint.
I started with the traditional ‘gofio’, a peasant stew with garlic, that was quite tasty. Then the goat stew, which was good. The atmosphere was nice and the meal good value.
This was the worst restaurant on the island and the most expensive. Bad service. We ordered the menu of the day which was a mix of fish and chicken croquettes. They all tasted the same. After asking whether this was really a mix, the staff didn’t react at all. Also the rabbit dish was very dry. When we received the bill and tried to contact the staff because we had more items on it than we had ordered, they already came up with a new bill (without knowing what we wanted to say). An elderly couple came in 24 min late from their reservation, they were told that the restaurant was closed. This might have been a good restaurant but it’s definitely not anymore. Poor service, poor food, expensive.
