We arrived during the indicated opening hours and there also was a handwritten Bienvenidos sign out. But we were sent away with as only explication that it was closed: Either they are closed definitely and went out of business. or They don 't care serving a hiking family/ non-locals. This was the first time that we were received in a disrespectful manner in the Canaries. I would recommend to go somewhere else.
