What Roo doesn't like about The View:
In my personal opinion, Teignmouth always appears unkempt with no signage reminding visitors not to feed seagulls. There are too many tables and chairs outside of eateries. The three fish and chip shops do not receive favorable reviews, as they have cut portions in half and raised prices, particularly McCoys on the seafront. We visited last weekend as the weather was great. I placed the order and was told there is a 20 minute wait on the food as they were pretty busy and the sun was out! We sat outside to enjoy the sun and the view. The food arrived in around 15 minutes. The quality was great and the service was superb.
