Despite being busy our breakfast arrived quickly and the quality was great. Will definitely visit this place again. If you haven’t tried this place, give it a go. You won’t be disappointed. I ordered a small vegetarian breakfast, which was poor value for money and not very nice. This is not however the reason for this post. Whilst waiting for my order it was suggested that I had ordered earlier in the week and left without paying. Interesting as the day in question I was actually in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conversation was held quite loudly in front of a lot of other customers. Needless to say I was embarrassed and humiliated. If I hadn 't already paid for my coffee and breakfast, which incidentally you do on ordering at the counter, I would have left. The apology was less than acceptable 'case of mistaken identity as you have purple hair and ordered the same thing '. Sorry not sorry but I am never coming here again.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly... read more We walked here from Dawlish Warren on a very rainy day. This restaurant is the best place we have eaten in, in Devon. It was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was quick and the food was delicious. Portions were massive and the coffee was good too! We will definitely return if we are in Devon again. Thank you John's! A real highlight of our holiday
