Called into Austins department store today to view their sale and decided to break for coffee in their Pine Room restaurant. Disappointed to find that although they advertise as having free wifi available this did not work on my iPad. The restaurant offers excellent food at a good price in a pleasant environment within a high-end retail store that provides all the shopping essentials. The store is well-staffed and a joy to visit for both shopping and dining.

Definitely recommended
Often go here for a coffee and a cheese scone or a toasted tea cake on a Saturday, A good place. For a meet up with friends .
This restaurant is a wonderful and welcoming place to take a break while shopping. There is a wide variety of options on the menu and the portions are generous. The comfortable sofas and relaxed atmosphere make it a great choice. I would definitely recommend it.
I have been coming to this restaurant for around 40 years, on and off. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food and service are consistently good. There is a good variety of food options, including gluten-free choices. Unfortunately, I realized I didn't receive enough change until I was already on my way home. This means I will have to go back to collect the missing £10 note, which I won't be spending in the Pine Room again.
