Old Pottery - Teignbridge
Old Pottery
Description
Nestled just a stone's throw away from the main road, this restaurant offers a mix of experiences that leave diners with contrasting impressions. While many appreciate the friendly staff and welcoming ambiance, others have voiced concerns over the limited and sometimes uninspired menu items, including overcooked pasta and stale sandwiches. The introduction of QR codes for orders has also drawn criticism for complicating the ordering experience. Nevertheless, loyal patrons cherish the delightful dinners, such as well-executed specials and thoughtful touches during events like Valentine’s Day. Ultimately, the restaurant remains a hit for some while enigmatic for others.

Busy venue. Seating isn't the greatest. Bench seating around the edge of the conservatory area is too high to be comfortable. Great staff. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Bought some marbles and had a nice lunch on the way back from a holiday in Devon. Unusual place and a great find. The kids loved the marbles. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely food and good service at both coffee time and then later lunch. We we went on a Monday, not expecting it to be busy, however there were lots of people there.
