Menu

A comprehensive menu of Old Pottery from Teignbridge featuring all 59 meals and drinks can be found here on the menu.

Nestled just a stone's throw away from the main road, this restaurant offers a mix of experiences that leave diners with contrasting impressions. While many appreciate the friendly staff and welcoming ambiance, others have voiced concerns over the limited and sometimes uninspired menu items, including overcooked pasta and stale sandwiches. The introduction of QR codes for orders has also drawn criticism for complicating the ordering experience. Nevertheless, loyal patrons cherish the delightful dinners, such as well-executed specials and thoughtful touches during events like Valentine’s Day. Ultimately, the restaurant remains a hit for some while enigmatic for others.

Was Richard Ford at Old Pottery a mag?
I am blown away by this charming and relaxing restaurant! The food is absolutely fantastic, and I am very particular when it comes to the quality of food. The prices here are the most affordable you'll come across, and the desserts are not only delicious but also generously portioned. They have their own car park with hundreds of free spaces. The service is great, making it a perfect spot for a lovely dinner. View all feedback.

What Nobody3 dislikes about Old Pottery:
Admittedly we went in the evening in December when The Old Pottery was offering a Christmas menu, but just because we are in December not everybody wants a Christmas meal. At no point when we booked was it pointed out that beyond the Christmas menu at £42 pp that they were offering a very limited restaurant menu. So excluding the Christmas menu the restaurant offered 4 main courses i.e. a vegetarian option, duck leg... View all feedback.

Lovely food and good service at both coffee time and then later lunch. We we went on a Monday, not expecting it to be busy, however there were lots of people there.

Busy restaurant but excellent service and menu. Fascinating museum, active glassblowing workshop and a shop selling old fashioned games, specialist pottery and glass, limited edition wooden furniture and clothing.
