On entering we saw that... read more While we were staying local at a camp site, we decided to have a takeaway one night on looking at local takeaway we came across Hakaryu. On entering we saw that they take cash only but the staff stated ‘we accept card’ On ordering our food everything was catered for such as no veg. Everything is reasonably priced and we did not have to wait long even though this was cooked fresh while we waited. On getting the food back to our accommodation we noted how nice everything was to which this actually tasted much nicer than when we have a takeaway when at home. We have highly recommend these to our family and friends who also visit the area regularly. Thank you both, see you again when we are in the area!

We used to use this place regularly a few years ago but the food was not the best but decided to try again but where do I start, Tonight we tried the spare ribs... read more We used to use this place regularly a few years ago but the food was not the best but decided to try again but where do I start, Tonight we tried the spare ribs in salt and chilli and must say they were not spare ribs at all, no meat on them at all but credit the taste was beautiful. Beef curry and chips was actually flavoursome but the chips were rock hard. Fried broccoli in oyster sauce again was was full of flavour as well as the chicken in green pepper and black bean sauce so not all negative..
