What Jennifer Worsham doesn't like about Cookie's Place:
Placed a lunch to go order for 6 people at 10:30 am to be picked up at noon. Upon arrival the hot food was ready and sitting on the counter. Plasticware, drinks, condements and desserts were missing. Staff was obviously overwhelmed and demonstrated a lack of organization. My wait time to check out was approx an hour. Great food here. Had the burger which was great. Chicken fried steaks are very good. Can't go wrong with any of the choices.
The pork chops, yams, corn bread and greens were delicious!

So under the heading of don’t judge a book by its movie lol don’t judge Cookie’s by it’s outside appearance. Back in the day she was likely a Dairy Queen but today she is a family Soul food restaurant that has amazing food. I’ve probably eaten thousands of cheeseburgers in my lifetime but Cookie’s burgers are insanely good! They have a buffet which looked and smelled great but it was a cheeseburger basket kinda day! Great meat perfectly seasoned, just the right amount of veggies and homemade fries made for quite an enjoyable meal! It’s hard to do simple food and do it consistently right but this place does food right! And hate to say it but the chocolate pound cake was to die for! If you’re gonna get off that low carb diet once in a while, go to Cookie’s! It’s so gooood!!
Reviews are only worth what happened to that particular person. I have gone to Cookies several times and have NEVER been disappointed!
