What Catalina Veum doesn't like about Rai Rai Ken:
Not exactly our go to restaurant for Japanese food but I was longing for some soup. Hubby and I shared a Katsudon and a Gomoku Ramen. I've had better Gomoku Ramen which had a thicker more flavorful broth. The shrimps didn't feel fresh. The flavor was ok, enough to satisfy my soup craving. Cant tell what type of Japanese food you are looking for but you cannot compare this to Tokyo Tokyo. The food is great and I haven't been disappointed in any of my trips here at this restaurant. And just today you have eaten this simple looking dish but when you combine either fish, rice or salad in your mouth it will create a different taste that you are sure to like.
