About a year ago, w... read more Trappers used to be one of our favorite restaurants years ago, but we stopped going due to a few rude waiters who didn't care about service. About a year ago, we had a terrible experience with the same waitress and decided not to return. Recently, we decided to give it another try after hearing that there was new staff. The service was much better with the new staff, but the food was lackluster. One of us had a disappointing chili size made with a pre-made frozen patty, while the other had a mediocre burger with limp fries. It will be a while before we return again. We gave it a chance, but it fell short.

I finally ask someone how to get a food order. they took it. I ordered hot beef sandwich that came cold with cold gravure. my server was very busy talking to the chef. don't waste your money here.

I ordered the fryed bark dinner with carrots and gravy, an salad, green bean and a roll. I couldn't even eat 1/3 of them, but take the rest home. the brat was probably a whole pfund and roasted on delicate perfection!

I feel sor... read more I can't understand why this restaurant has so many five and four-star reviews, because in my opinion, it is the worst restaurant I have ever visited. I feel sorry for those who believe it deserves five stars, as they must not have had real food before. The BBQ sandwich was just a few slices of roast beef in broth, the chicken tasted like it was from the frozen food section but worse, and the grilled cheese had a slice of American cheese between generic white bread, all at a price six times higher than it should be. Perhaps people who enjoy hair in their food would give it five stars. I suggest going to Subway or McDonald's instead. The place is not good.

The only thing I can manage to eat is their French fries. Even their grilled cheese (which cost $8 for American cheese in between 2 regular pieces of bread) made me feel sick after, and I couldn’t even finish it because it tasted so bad.
