I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was so over cooked that I couldn't bite it. Worst chicken and waffles that I've had. Our server was great, but didn't fully understand the menu. My mother wanted a sauce left off and server said that it couldn't happen. Once we received the dish, the sauce had just been put on top, so, it could have been left off. We had 4 dishes, and 2 of them were terrific. Grit did take off the unsatisfactory meals from our bill, but, still, it was disappointing.

What husband did get was perhaps going for a beef burgundy but the sauce would have been better with lamb. The fried cauliflower was part raw as the pieces were cut to big. The presentation was excellent for the meal, the taste was not bad, but not what should be for price and ambience. This foodie was not impressed.
