I visited Nada in Tawa after my trip to Whitby and had my first custard square in months—it was absolutely delicious! The pastry was firm and flaky, and the custard filling was flavorful with a nice, thick ooze. We also had coffee, and the flat white was excellent, rich and well-aerated with steaming hot milk. The display of cabinet food was very appealing, but there’s only so much you can enjoy for morning tea!
The location is a bit off the beaten path, but when I entered NADA's bakery for the first time, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. I was pleased with the variety of food available. The food presentation was quite impressive. I ordered a gluten-free chocolate mousse slice for $5.30. Considering it's gluten-free, delicious, and served in a generous portion, I felt the price was justified for such a quality product. I wouldn't hesitate to visit this place again.
What could possibly be better than a fresh cream lamington? Not much, in my opinion. I absolutely love the variety offered here. There's easy parking, and the pies are packed with tender chunks of meat and have a delightful flaky, buttery pastry. I’ll definitely stop by whenever I’m in the area.
Been going to Nada since I was a kid (Jville). So pleased to see Nada is still going and I can take my kids here too! The pies are absolutely amazing! Love the pork one or their potato top is another firm favourite! The Cafe in Tawa is a great place to stop and grab a coffee and delicious treat after kids sport. Yes, I'll have a Nada one
