Had my favourite the... read more Quick visit to possibly one of the best Indian Restaurants in Wellington. Always impressed with the service and quality of meals on offer. Had my favourite the Chicken Tikka Masala and as usual this was faultless. New Owners and still fantastic. Definitely worth a visit when next you are in the mood for a curry.

As a family we love the lunch time deals at Indian restaurants and this is now going to be our go to lunch curry place. Their Onion Bhaji was outstanding, nice big bits with the right amount of batter and a great tamarind sauce. For mains, with the lunch you can choose any veg, chicken or lamb dish, it comes with rice and naan. A naan upgrade is just 50c. I had the paneer tikka masala , oh it was good, so good. The paneer was plentiful and decent sized chunks. I am going to find it hard to move past this one. My husband had the chicken jalfrezi , he enjoyed it and commented that the chicken was good quality. He asked for hot and got hot. Miss Muffin had the butter chicken , she liked the meat but found the sauce a little too sweet. She has decided to opt for the passband next time. All in all, a fab lunch and we will be back.

The rest... read more I have dined in and ordered takeout about once a month for the past year. The menu is excellent, the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. The restaurant has a cozy, intimate atmosphere, and the staff even remembers their regular customers.
