Creole Flava (food Truck) - Tavener

Stopped by CREOLE FLAVA. Food is very flavorful and served piping hot. The ox tails were very tender with rice , portions are Texas sized. Glazed yams were sweet and spiced to perfection. Mac and cheese was creamy . The owner was friendly and customer service was excellent .They were fairly busy but service was fast. The cajun chicken pasta with large tender pieces of chicken, was also a hit. I'd go back for sure.

They are always pleasant and easy going. Every time I order something it's good. I love the oxtails and I enjoy the pork chop plate with the greens and Mac and cheese as well. Tonight I'm having the smothered chicken and it's amazing. I love this place. Never change

I’ve really been looking for some good soul food since I moved to Houston. Every time I get excited… anywho the lady was very nice. The food was not nasty it just wasn’t wonderful either. My complaint really is the prices. I’m not opposed to PAYING whatever for GOOD food because I will enjoy it. But listen was charged 7.99 for cake. That was allegedly homemade… now I’m not a baker but I know cake . This is not homemade. And y’all should be ashamed for charging 7.99 mins you the sign said 4.95. I was also charged 6.99 for a 3oz red beans and rice … really?? On top of it all I had to go back because it was missing… lastly… the $38.00 I paid for the food seemed still a lot… I was charged for ox tails when I ordered and was given chicken… I tried!! That chicken was tender tho
