It’s the kind of place where you can wake up, sip your coffee, and just relax. There are also tennis courts if you’re up for a game. Some of the apartments are on a timeshare basis. I don’t think you can go wrong with the views here. It's a fantastic spot, though it can be a bit pricey—however, sharing costs with family or friends makes it reasonable. Don’t forget to bring some board games; there is a TV available. During the day, consider visiting Kuratau, which boasts a vineyard open from noon to 7 PM. They serve coffee and take pride in their wine, plus they have delicious stone oven pizzas! There are plenty of options around, and Turangi is just a 20-minute drive away, featuring a fun mini-golf course. Of course, if you’re into skiing, the slopes are about a 45-60 minute drive away.
