It was a pleasant surprise to discover a coffee stop on the way to Venus Bay. The barista was friendly and engaging, making us feel welcomed. The café was impeccably clean, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. While our coffees could have been stronger, it was still enjoyable. It was a convenient and relaxing break after a long drive. Additionally, the café's proximity to the IGA supermarket was convenient.
Slow service. Staff seemed overwhelmed, although it wasn’t too busy. Only manager had the wifi code and he was out. Table didn’t get wiped down, and food was plonked down in front of us without any acknowledgment. The place is dysfunctional there’s a sign saying the business is for sale unsurprising really. Food was ok, but nothing special.
After a delightful stroll, we decided to take a break and have some drinks and cake. The service was good, the drinks were delicious, and the homemade cake was very tasty. I would definitely go back again.
The restaurant offers a great variety of food, and the service was friendly and attentive. We had a delicious breakfast here - my partner enjoyed the bacon and egg sandwich, while I opted for the healthy muesli, yogurt, and berry dish which was very tasty. We will definitely return!
New owners that are friendly, lively and full of BeenZ great coffee from Columbia with mains and cakes to match. Just hope that they get enough trade in Tarwin Lower that they can survive as this is what a Country Cafe should be. Wish them all the best and thank you for your service.
