Was Anonym at Riverview Hotel a mag?
Well what can I say walking into this place sent me into a time warp. It's a classic. It's the best place I have been to in years. Ye Olde pub feel and most enjoyable watching the local lads catch a fish or two. Good pub fare, it looked like the locals really enjoy it. I WILL be back. What Anonym dislikes about Riverview Hotel:
We stopped off for lunch after driving from Frankston via Phillip Is. and were pretty peckish. Were a bit dubious re the expected meal quality and were not far off the mark as the meal was only average and the prices were not as reasonable as one would expect. ( Still, there is no competition ) Suggest that you try and find an alternative spot and you will probably fare better. Won't rush down there to have another l... View all feedback.

Shame the food was so bad as its a lovely location! A lot of people warned us but had to try for ourselves.

The garlic and cheese cob bread is a fantastic appetizer. The lamb and couscous for the main course was outstanding! It was so delicious that we will for sure return!
