It's very popular with locals, probably because it's a good value and pretty quick. The staff are very fast and efficient considering how busy the place is, the kitchen is constantly cranking out the breakfast special.

Food is delicious and... read more In mu opinion this is best place in Tarifa to have a breakfast (the other one is Café Azul). The winning factor here is local atmosphere. Food is delicious and cheaper than in more fancy Azul. I prefer places local people oriented and here it is.

Great dark bre... read more Good and inexpensive choice for breakfast in Tarifa (10-16 EUR for 2 persons). One day we were breakfasting there and the other day in Face Azul. Great dark bread with 3 types of cheese with tomato sauce. This is more locals place than touristic what I prefer, even though the service is not the fastest, very friendly though. Sometimes it is hard to get a free table. Fantastic croissant with butter and marmalade and very good coffee.

We went to this cafe for an early breakfast to go (coffee and croissants) and were ignored, lied to, and served only after every other customer (those who arriv... read more We went to this cafe for an early breakfast to go (coffee and croissants) and were ignored, lied to, and served only after every other customer (those who arrived after we did). I speak Spanish and placed an order for coffee, a croissant, and a sandwich with egg (the special written on the chalk board). After waiting 10 minutes and seeing others served before us, we were told the sandwich was not available because there was no bread. We could clearly see sandwiches coming out of the kitchen and a pile of sandwich bread in the kitchen. Customers next to us were still being served sandwiches. While waiting for a coffee, the server place the cup in front of us while proceeding to fill countless other cups right next to it, for customers that arrived after us. Finally she decided we had waited long enough and let us have the coffee. After waiting another 10 minutes for the croissant, we had to run to the bus station so we ended up leaving cash on the counter for the meal. The server lady behind the bar clearly does not want foreigners (even respectful ones that speak Spanish) and goes out of her way to be rude to them.
