We went to this cafe for an early breakfast to go (coffee and croissants) and were ignored, lied to, and served only after every other customer (those who arriv... read more We went to this cafe for an early breakfast to go (coffee and croissants) and were ignored, lied to, and served only after every other customer (those who arrived after we did). I speak Spanish and placed an order for coffee, a croissant, and a sandwich with egg (the special written on the chalk board). After waiting 10 minutes and seeing others served before us, we were told the sandwich was not available because there was no bread. We could clearly see sandwiches coming out of the kitchen and a pile of sandwich bread in the kitchen. Customers next to us were still being served sandwiches. While waiting for a coffee, the server place the cup in front of us while proceeding to fill countless other cups right next to it, for customers that arrived after us. Finally she decided we had waited long enough and let us have the coffee. After waiting another 10 minutes for the croissant, we had to run to the bus station so we ended up leaving cash on the counter for the meal. The server lady behind the bar clearly does not want foreigners (even respectful ones that speak Spanish) and goes out of her way to be rude to them.

One of the few places to open before 0900 which is a plus. Amazing coffee at local prices and great Spanish breakfast choice.
