Haven't been for a few years and really looked forward to another visit. Mistake!!! Staff member barely noticed us when we arrived other than to tell us that the card machine wasn't working and it was cash only. The menu was basic and uninspiring and the fact that nothing was available was a huge disappointment . Another table of people sat next to us and had similar feelings in regards to the menu. All in all, this former gem is a shadow of its former self and if you can go somewhere else then please do,this should be such a great place serving the best that the local waters can provide but it's simply not... unfortunate and in the current climate I can't see this place lasting the distance

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch today. Five adults, a toddler and a dog were warmly welcomed and looked after so well. The food was delicious, served thoughtfully and with care. We were not rushed despite lingering longer than usual. Excellent service and value! Looking forward to our next visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
