Nothing fanc... read more We have been coming to Arran for years but only heard of this place in recent years and never been able to get a table. It was well worth the wait. Nothing fancy and all in very simple settings but I can see why it’s so highly rated. Friendly fast service. Food was delicious with big fresh portions. The sticky toffee cheesecake was outstanding. The only downside was hearing that the owners are hoping to retire and sell up. Otherwise we would definitely be back. We were staying in Brodick but it was worth the 25 minute drive both ways.

Restaurant is ‘Bring you own’ alcohol so makes the whole experience affordable during these recessionary times. Well worth a visit but remember to book well in advance.

Very relaxing better than any Glasgow or London experience. Starters of local crab and stuffed mushrooms followed by the most delightful local lamb and beautifully cooked Haddock.Topped of by a lovely home made carmel and apple pie....a byo and no corkage charge . A big thankyou to bRino? In the kitchen and wonderful service from Valirie and Jessica..Alan and Christina Dunn Largs....a must visit for good food lovers.
