Everything was good, from the food to the aesthetic to the service to the overall price of everything! All 10/10. Coming from a Haitian who don’t like eating out like that I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The food had F L A V O R ! The fries withthe pickled onions hit, the French toast was 3 thick slices of fresh, airy bread, and the eggs were cooked through!! You won’tbe disappointed.
A must for Tampa. Delicious food, strong and cool drinks. The atmosphere is eccentric, making you feel like you’re in a 80s upbeat disco bar. I have zero complaints and will be back every time I’m in Tampa. Pitcher of Mango Mojito was well worth the~$45 Bonus: the menu has a lot of unique deals per specific day, so plan your visit!
Overall I give it a 7-7.5 Food and Drinks: Delicious. Food cost for what you receive. Service: Really good. I forget the waiters name but he was friendly and attentive. Ambiance: We wanted to sit inside but only outside seating was available when I made the reservation. It was really really loud, the sun was setting and was in our eyes. It was also pretty windy. I’d recommend they add some kind of curtains for when the sun is setting and/or for when it’s windy or raining. We had the chips and queso which was so good. A little spicy. I had the FAMORRO with shredded pork (chimichurri, and orange mojo) as my entree. phenomenal. i also had the mango mojito on the rocks. The ambiance disappointed us. We thought it was going to be more upscale than it was. We are there prior to seeing a play at the Straz. All in all I highly recommend Luv Child.
