Having dinner at sunset, at 124m above ground in a rotating tower is quite an experience. It was a perfect autumn sunset, clear weather, so we could see as far as possible. Dining was great, with great wine pairing. View all feedback.

The spectacular view from this revolving tower restaurant is enough to make me want to take visitors there, regardless of the food or service, which are anyway both good. The waiters are deployed collectively, so you are not somehow stuck with one server all night. But in general they are all very helpful. On this occasion we took the set menus one Finlandia, one Veggie. We were both quite satisfied. The portions, though still slightly small, were more satisfying in size than I judged last year, though still a bit over elaborate and verging on the bizarre. My vegetarian main course, for example, was sauteed potato gnocchi served with a vegetable ragout that seemed to consist mostly of under cooked carrots topped with smokey chick peas. On the other hand, the parsnip ice cream with malt crackles as entremet was more palatable than it sounds. The desserts were nice, though mine, basically an almondy lemon meringue tartlet, was a little sweet for my taste. The wines and other drinks were excellent, thought the entire package was not cheap. Still, for the unbeatable view and relaxing ambiance, it is surely worth the extra.
A guaranteed high-scale dining experience every time. Good service, delicious food and the best views in town. I just wish that if waiters are required to have gloves, they should be clean and in good condition. Our waiters’ gloves had holes in them so that the waitresse’s nails came out of the gloves. Those little details might raise the review next time.
It's far from the first time I've eaten here but admittedly it's been a while. It was a family party and quite late in the evening so we all skipped the tasting menu and went a la carte. Prices seem to have shot up, perhaps not surprising in the current circumstances but my vegetarian main course was an awful disappointment. A large plate largely filled in the middle with what was supposed to be smoked cheese . In fact it was a foam which tasted neither smoked nor of cheese and was surrounded by a few scraps of vegetable and mousse artfully placed no doubt. So seriously insubstantial and grossly overpriced... and yes I know I have to pay for the view and experience but really!! My companions chose fish and reindeer and seemed satisfied but not enthusiastic. My dessert was no better really. Buckthorn with chocolate ice cream on top of a soggy difficult to eat biscuit. But the staff were lovely that that was a plus. Saturday night and the restaurant only half full. Got to be a reason.
We had a group of twelve people eating. The start was really poor. It took about 40-50 mins to get the first small greeting into the table, which was not even any good. Waitress mixed up our alco and non alco wines. When I asked to take a pic of our group some of the people were not in it. Next part took again too long time. Then the main course thirth meal was in the table in 100-110mins. At that point I had to ask them to hurry up because bus was leaving soon. It did not make the kitchen much faster and taxi order went to the other side of the place. We were not instructed. We would have missed our bus without one of us offering a ride. Food was very typical not good or bad, but for the price maybe decent. Service was really poor. I was not sure what the food included according to the waitresses, we got charged for 14,5 people full set eventhough 12 was eating. I reserved 16 seats just in case, but 4 of them did not come. The explnataion was that they have to premake them, the offering speed did not underline that.
Very beautiful place to have a meal. The food was very good, very tasty, very well presented. Unfortunately we went with our two very young boys 3 and 2 and its not a place for the boys. they don't appreciate that level of cooking and the waiter was very annoyed to see the kids running around playing. Unless if your kids are very quiet I wouldn't go there, otherwise the food is great!
