Was Roger G at Reflections a mag?
Went as a party of four, a special offer of 3 course lunch for £5 each. Each course was of high quality and beatifully presented, as good as we've had in 5* hotels. Two choices per course, no problem for any of our party. View all feedback.

What Юлія Павлюк dislikes about Reflections:
Went on a theme night with friends, it had been some time between visits and previously had decent food, but this one was over priced under cooked and if I had been on my own would have refused to pay. View all feedback.

We have been to Reflections on a number of occasions now and can say, it's well worth a visit. Firstly, it has to be pointed out, that this is not your everyday Restaurant, as it's part of a College and is used primarily to offer people the opportunity to dine, in an environment that is focussed on the development of young catering and hospitality students, to hone their skills, in a proper environment. They offer lunch time menus, that are exceptional value and as a result are very well attended, by those in the know. The Evening meals are usually on set days and are themed, based on the thoughts of either one person or a team. The one we attended yesterday, was based around James Bond and consisted of 7 courses, that were more in line with what could be referred to, as a taster menu, but was nevertheless very enjoyable. Every course was very tasty, well presented and complimented it's predecessor and was excellent value. Our waitress was extremely attentive, courteous and will be a real asset to whoever employs her. She asked us if we would require wine and we advised her that we don't actually drink alcohol and she was quick to point out, that the menu had a Martini Sorbet in it, which contained alcohol, however it was not an issue and was delightful. Another person on another table was a vegetarian and they changed a couple of the courses to suit. The whole Team on the night was excellent and deserved a round of applause for their efforts. During the day, there is also a Bakery in the College, that is open to the public and turns out some really nice products, at decent prices. This is one of those places, that is really different and if you want to see young people being encouraged to shine, in their chosen profession, then you should enjoy your visit, but don't tell everyone, as it's a little gem.

This is a training restaurant for students at Tameside College so your expectations are not very high. It was great to be wrong. The restaurant has about 30 covers and is pleasantly situated on the first floor with a well stocked bar and reasonable wine list, although out of stock of John Smiths and Boddingtons the Spitfire was great. This is fine dining and all courses in our party of five were cooked to perfection. We had a choice of two starters, four mains and two sweets All the front of house students were very smart in black uniforms, they were attentive and helpful and served the food in a friendly and efficient manner. We shall certainly be back for this fine dining experience, which must be the cheapest three course meal in the area.

This was our second visit to Reflections and the standards were just as good. We arrived at the beginning of the September term and it was the first night for the students to serve paying guests. Silver service is not easy on your first night with strangers watching you but all the students performed well putting the food on the plates. It is a three course meal with two starters, three mains and two sweets, the food was fantastic, you will not eat any where better for £12.95, there is also a well stocked bar. All the students were very friendly and helpful, our table waitress Sophie was a star, even when I asked for rice pudding she did the right thing ,went to ask the chef and returned with the answer. We all enjoyed the evening and would have no hesitation in recommending Reflections Restaurant to anybody who likes good food. Give it a try and help the students in their careers.
