Was Roger G at Reflections a mag?
Went as a party of four, a special offer of 3 course lunch for £5 each. Each course was of high quality and beatifully presented, as good as we've had in 5* hotels. Two choices per course, no problem for any of our party. View all feedback.
What Юлія Павлюк dislikes about Reflections:
Went on a theme night with friends, it had been some time between visits and previously had decent food, but this one was over priced under cooked and if I had been on my own would have refused to pay. View all feedback.

Excellent food and service. Young staff attentive and very willing.Only complaint was the wine wasn't chilled enough.
We have been to Reflections on a number of occasions now and can say, it's well worth a visit. Firstly, it has to be pointed out, that this is not your everyday Restaurant, as it's part of a College and is used primarily to offer people the opportunity to dine, in an environment that is focussed on the development of young catering and hospitality students, to hone their skills, in a proper environment. They offer lunch time menus, that are exceptional value and as a result are very well attended, by those in the know. The Evening meals are usually on set days and are themed, based on the thoughts of either one person or a team. The one we attended yesterday, was based around James Bond and consisted of 7 courses, that were more in line with what could be referred to, as a taster menu, but was nevertheless very enjoyable. Every course was very tasty, well presented and complimented it's predecessor and was excellent value. Our waitress was extremely attentive, courteous and will be a real asset to whoever employs her. She asked us if we would require wine and we advised her that we don't actually drink alcohol and she was quick to point out, that the menu had a Martini Sorbet in it, which contained alcohol, however it was not an issue and was delightful. Another person on another table was a vegetarian and they changed a couple of the courses to suit. The whole Team on the night was excellent and deserved a round of applause for their efforts. During the day, there is also a Bakery in the College, that is open to the public and turns out some really nice products, at decent prices. This is one of those places, that is really different and if you want to see young people being encouraged to shine, in their chosen profession, then you should enjoy your visit, but don't tell everyone, as it's a little gem.

A most enjoyable evening with my husband and daughter. We enjoyed a exceptional five course meal followed by tea or coffee all for £13.95.The students could not do enough to ensure we wanted for nothing. We look forward to our next meal and at these prices they will be regular ones.

My wife and I held our golden wedding anniversary dinner here with family and friends, we had the whole restaurant. six cursor tastings and drinks and everything can say it was fantastic at night, everything. Many thanks, john hold and the students who made the night great success.
On 23 rd March we went to Reflections Restaurant, Tameside College, it was French night at Reflections Restaurant, Tameside College, celebrating their close links with The French at the Midland Hotel, Manchester. It was a marvellous five course tasting menu which with a wine matched to each course was £45 per head. Astonishing value, wonderful food, superb wine specially selected by an assistant somelier at The French. The service was impeccable, supported by waiters from The French. It reflects so well on Adam Reid from The French, his staff and of course the students and staff of the Catering Department at Tameside College. A truly outstanding experience. If you have not visited this restaurant yet you really do not know what you are missing. If you have not visited this restaurant yet then you really don 't know what you are missing.

This is a training restaurant for students at Tameside College so your expectations are not very high. It was great to be wrong. The restaurant has about 30 covers and is pleasantly situated on the first floor with a well stocked bar and reasonable wine list, although out of stock of John Smiths and Boddingtons the Spitfire was great. This is fine dining and all courses in our party of five were cooked to perfection. We had a choice of two starters, four mains and two sweets All the front of house students were very smart in black uniforms, they were attentive and helpful and served the food in a friendly and efficient manner. We shall certainly be back for this fine dining experience, which must be the cheapest three course meal in the area.
This was our second visit to Reflections and the standards were just as good. We arrived at the beginning of the September term and it was the first night for the students to serve paying guests. Silver service is not easy on your first night with strangers watching you but all the students performed well putting the food on the plates. It is a three course meal with two starters, three mains and two sweets, the food was fantastic, you will not eat any where better for £12.95, there is also a well stocked bar. All the students were very friendly and helpful, our table waitress Sophie was a star, even when I asked for rice pudding she did the right thing ,went to ask the chef and returned with the answer. We all enjoyed the evening and would have no hesitation in recommending Reflections Restaurant to anybody who likes good food. Give it a try and help the students in their careers.
Cannot recommend this enough. 3 courses of top notch posh food. All 4 of us cleared all our plates. Great service from students who behaved very professionally and who should be very pleased with themselves. Can't fault anything and special mention to Sophie for the crepes that she cooked at the table. Superb coffees to finish as well. Give it a try you cannot eat anywhere to this standard at such a small price less than £12 each.
We have been going to the College Restaurant for many years , GREAT VALUE . Excellent food . This is a great way to support and help give the future star Chefs experience
I have eaten here quite a few times and it never ceases to amaze me how good the food and service is. These are young people just learning their trade but their professionalism is excellent. Today, as I have done a few times previously, I visited with my daughter who has multiple food allergies. The first time she visted with us we informed the staff well before hand details of her gluten free and FODMAP diet, the saff and students researched the diet and now keep all her details on file so that they are able to cater for her. The food today was as good as usual and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I have also visited with a group of friends in the evenings our particular favourite evening is Burns Night. My only gripe with this lovely place is that it isnt open every lunch-time or evening.
