What Wilhelm Windler likes about Phat Pho:
Their Pho is good comparing it with East Coast Vietnamese joints. Their spicy Bun Bo Hue is just yummy and slightly kicking with spiciness. Pho Bo Vien, their classic soup is good with broth full of beef flavor and just heavenly. CON: Bean sprouts were...added into the soup instead of being served on the side, missing basil leaves, but soup is just hot the way i like. Vietnamese coffee is hot, caffeine potent, but to... The fact that this place has three branches, once in serendra, Rockwell and cebu is shocking. The Pho was downright horrible. The broth/ soup it is on has zero taste. Absolutely no flavors. Cup noodles, shin cup, instant noodles packed more flavor than the Pho...here. The noodles were blah as well, the beef they gave was so little and didn't help the flavor either. read moreThis Vietnamese restaurant has three branches in Serendra, Rockwell, and Cebu. While some reviewers found the Pho disappointing with bland broth and minimal flavor, others raved about the delicious spring rolls, pho special, and rice dishes. The service varied from slow to quick, but overall friendly. Prices were deemed fair, with portions worth the cost. The menu offers a variety of Vietnamese dishes beyond just Pho, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Overall, the restaurant has drawn in a steady stream of customers despite some inconsistencies in service and food quality.
