Great Ramen spot. It wasn't busy when we ate for dinner in Tuesday night. Great service and food arrived quickly. Broth was amazing. Two choices for noodles hardness. I chose medium. I got classic Tonkitsu. The special gets you an egg and seaweed and other toppings. Classic just the pork belly. Kids love their Ramen and they approve! We just came from Japan too. What michael s doesn't like about Ippudo Uptown Bgc:
Look at this disaster of a design flaw. I am currently eating here right now and I'm disgusted. The ramen tastes fine, it's ramen. Taste like ramen. You don't get 5 stars for having ramen that tastes like ramen. But look at where I'm sitting. There is a HUGE AC facing straight down into my bowl of soup. Can you guess what happened? Exactly. Water from the AC dripped onto my food. Is this a joke?? And I'm posting 2 pi... View all feedback.

Ippudo never disappoints! It's one of my favorite ramen spots, and I was thrilled to find it in Manila during my recent visit. The lunch service was quick; I sat down, ordered a beer, and my ramen was served promptly. I opted for medium noodles, which were absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and silky—truly heavenly. For toppings, I chose the traditional chashu pork and the torched version, along with mushrooms, green onions, and an egg. It was so satisfying that I felt energized and ready to tackle the rest of my day. Thank you, Ippudo!
I’m happy to share that Ippudo Uptown BGC lives up to the original and may even be a bit better. The few extra menu items are flavorful, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The menu is straightforward and easy to navigate, with the initial offerings just as satisfying as at the original location. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy this NYC classic before it becomes too popular and hard to get into like the original!
Ippudo is also famous for its side dishes, and my favorites include their okonomiyaki, nanban karaage, and deep-fried gyoza. While all of these are excellent companions to ramen, I believe the okonomiyaki stands out the most with its hearty texture that perfectly complements the smooth, rich broth of their ramen. I must admit, while writing this review, I realized how forgetful I was—I forgot to take pictures of my akamaru ramen and my friend’s karakamen! Oops!
The BEST ramen in the world's most empty Ippudo!! The reasons for the emptiness are 1) this one is very new, 2) the area is still somewhat deserted thanks to a ton of constructions going on, 3) who eats ramen when it's 95f 38c outside with high humidity... Since it's best ramen it needs no introduction, but some tips: 1) Whatever you order, don't forget to add the signature fresh garlic on your noodles, 2) Unless your teeth are bad, order your noodles hard and I'm sure you'll like it!
