We ordered their ramen 3 kinds and all good! the broth wasnt too oily or fatty. our fave is the clam chowder ramen!Pork bun delish. if they gave you pork with too much fat you can have it replaced.beef rice (forgot the name) oh so heavenly good!gyoza, best gyoza i've triedokonomiyaki, really good toowriting this review makes me crave for it again!
We deliberately sought this restaurant out because of the good reviews. We wanted to try it out ourselves. We ordered the Shiromaru Special ramen with hard noodles, the Okonomiyaki and the deep-fried gyoza. We were not disappointed. They were all very good. Service is good. Interior is decent. Prices are normal for an above average ramen place. Rest room is clean. What's there not to like?We are definitely going back. Ippudo will be on our list of comfort restos.
Traffic was horrible that day! So I decided to have a snack/ early dinner before heading home. Located at the new Uptown Mall.Ramen for the rainy weather. I like mine al dente with a little spice. Servings were big. But I liked their fried chicken karaage and gyoza more!
Ippudo is also famous for its side dishes, and my favorites include their okonomiyaki, nanban karaage, and deep-fried gyoza. While all of these are excellent companions to ramen, I believe the okonomiyaki stands out the most with its hearty texture that perfectly complements the smooth, rich broth of their ramen. I must admit, while writing this review, I realized how forgetful I was—I forgot to take pictures of my akamaru ramen and my friend’s karakamen! Oops!
The ramen here is quite tasty, and the restaurant is spacious and well-maintained. However, there was no central air conditioning during our visit—just a few machines and fans near some tables. I really appreciate a place that serves a perfectly soft-boiled egg, and I also like that you can choose the firmness of your noodles.
