We chanced upon this stall in the foodcourt in the Grand Canal Mall. I was quite intrigue despite the fact that other stalls have more customers. We got their 1/4 chicken meal and we were actually surprised with the taste. I loved the spices that they used. The chicken was very tasty and complements well with their salsa. What User doesn't like about Galo Spanish Cuisine:
Galo was something new to us, and so we decided to try it.. We ordered for the Galo Fried Chicken.. it really tastes good. it's like grilled with herbs and spices with 3 kids of sauces.. (i'm not sure what it's called..)Value for money is worth it.. though the chicken is quite small but overall it was a good and tasty experience! View all feedback.

As my first taste of Latin grilled chicken, I wasn't disappointed. I love the chicken! It's like lechong manok but with herb rub all over the exterior with skin charred just perfectly. The best partner for it is the Galo rice that gives you a homey comfort feel. The chimichuri and salsa picante sauce lends a tangy citrus break from the herbed meat. Not hot and spicy at all, so safe for the mild tongues. The quesadillas were good although not great. The chorizo quesadilla is more flavorful than the chicken version. The nachos is topped with crumbled chorizo and is a great appetizer while waiting for the other dishes to arrive. Their house blend ice tea is refreshing and not the usual Nestea blend.Alo Restaurant is at the Food Hall going to Robinsons Food Selections. The area is airconditioned and seats are well spaced with nearby restrooms. Also, the staff is very accommodating and treated our group exceptionally. We had a wonderful dining experience. The only reason we specifically searched and tried out this resto is because it's the namesake of my son, Galo! But now I will return for the chicken! Hope you open a branch at Alabang soon!
