We tried the conveyor belt side of the restaurant and it was fun. Lots of creative rolls to enjoy and the chef was happy to put up whatever we asked for. The “half price” thing is a bit of a gimmick. The prices posted are the same as the menu prices for the full rolls, but what's on the belt is half rolls. They are therefore at half price. So yeah it's not super cheap but then again good sushi never is.. View all feedback.
What jay doesn't like about Sakana-ya Sushi:
The food was not good. The fish tasted old, like it had sitting in the refrigerator too long. The tuna was not edible. The ika salad was tasty. Service was decent. View all feedback.
Always good! Friendly staff and delicious food. It's a one of a kind place in the area!!

Great conveyor belt sushi (although it is my first time, so not.much to compare against). It was not overly loud and service was quick despite being quite busy.
Really cool and different, go see and I believe you will love it.
The rice was extremely salty. Previous reviews might not reflect post-pandemic food quality. Will never go there again. Cook refused to admit his rice was disgustingly salty, which didn't help their case. Also don't get fooled by half price sushi. It's half price for a reason.
