The service was outstanding,... read more My daughter and I sent to the Cider Mill before going to the Landmark Theater to see Cats so we were there earlier in the evening. The service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We shared the deviled egg appetizer which was really great. The filling was the best I've ever had in a deviled egg, and the seasoning and lox made it all the better. My daughter had the sirloin, with potatoes and green beans and said it was really good, cooked to an excellent medium well. For dinner, I had the oysters and lamp chop lollipops outstanding! The only downside was in what I guess would be called, atmosphere. The main dining room was not full, but they seated us in a back room where the only other people were doing a wedding tasting. They were loud, obnoxious, whiny, ass* . We couldn't hear one another talk because they were so deafening with their meeting with their booming voiced wedding planner, who had an extremely loud and obnoxious demeanor. We now know every detail of a wedding we will never get to go to! Service and food were great. Not sure worth the price paid based on the rest of the experience, but... also not sure it was something the Cider Mill could have controlled.

My husband had 2 appetizers instead of an entree: salmon sliders and lamb lollipops. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. Service was attentive and professional. Our server, Rebecca, was very knowledgable about both the food and drinks menu. (It is frustrating to ask a server their opinion about a dish, wine, or drink and have them say they haven't tasted it Rebecca enhanced our dining experience. The Cider Mill accepts reservations, and you can make them online. Very easy.

Our w... read more We had reservations for 2 people, but upon arrival we were informed that there had been a cancellation and we could choose to sit outside if we preferred. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The riggies were excellent, and I opted for the roasted chicken which was perfectly tender and moist. For dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake with black raspberry ice cream. My husband ordered the smoked salmon pasta and Strawberry Rhubarb shortcake, both of which he enjoyed. He also loved the Strawberry Rhubarb Negroni cocktail he had with his meal!

Their menu changes seasonally, keeping it fresh and they do takeout. We definitely prefer to sit outside whenever possible and if you're going on a Thursday,Friday or Saturday, be sure to make a reservation. We love the Cider Mill!
