I arrived at the coffeehouse just as the day 's order arrived from the newest doughnut shop, Glazed and Confused. The new doughnut shop specializes in plain doughnuts dressed up frostings, glazes, accented with bits of chocolate, coconut and more. What Rachel H doesn't like about Cafe Kubal Marriott Downtown:
Went every day over 4 days while I was in town staying at the Marriott. Pros: healthier (and vegan) options. Good coffee. Alternative milk options. Friendly people Cons: had a few instances where they got the order wrong. Paid for medium, they handed me a small (but didn’t have enough time for them to re-make). This crew is amazing! Everything from the personal greeting to the have a nice day as I 'm ready to leave. And the coffee is great too!
Love the baristas here. I started a job a few blocks away and as such started frequenting this cafe and within a few visits they started to recognize and welcome me warmly. Everyone is so nice and the short conversations always brighten my morning. Everyone has good music taste too! Food and drink are always made well, the decor is fancy due to being apart of the Marriott but they also put up cute stickers and the like for the holidays which I love. I do wish they had a proper small table or two to properly sit and eat/work, but I recognize it's more of a cafe lounge for the hotel than a proper Coffee Shop so that's okay!
Waited kinda a long time for my iced mocha. They did have to remake it, but they told me that after the fact. Also, no thank you or anything. They could be a little friendler. BUT my iced mocha was freakin delicious !!!
Didnt like dark roast they didnt have medium roast no flavor creamers bagel was good i rather go to dunkin donuts for the coffee.it is a nice cafe.
