We used to stop often for $6 meal deal...they no longer offer it! You can get $5 meal deal or $7 meal deal but it is not the same. Food still good though! Wish you would get rid of the $5 meal and bring back the $6 meal! View all feedback.
What Ida Hoppe doesn't like about Sylvan Lake Dq Grill Chill:
They are officially the slowest fast food restaurant we have ever been t to, on more than one occasion we have waited 30 minutes or more in the drive thru. Also they have the habit of forgetting your order and after waiting inside for 45 minutes we would then have to remind them of what we had ordered. They have also been quit skimpy on the product and just all around bad service. View all feedback.
Another dairy Queen. Clean. Two blocks fro the beach. They could use a few more outside tables. Clean. Nice sunroom.
We were a busload and went to our tables to wait for treat delivery. The server rested his fully loaded tray on a half-wall and distributed to us. He wasn't paying attention; the tray became unbalanced and fell to the floor, taking two desserts with it. Nice recovery. He quickly replaced the treats and got the mess cleaned up. Most efficient. Nicely done.

It usually quiet here. We had banana splits. We enjoyed them. The ice cream was a little melted. The store seems to always have maintenance issue, such as lighting and damaged booths. The grounds and exteriors are always in disrepair.
Always love DQ! Great ice cream, great burgers. Always excellent service and very accommodating regarding birthday cakes.
