LOKAL Kitchen - Sylvan Lake

We went to Lokal Kitchen for breakfast. The menu had most of the breakfast options that you would normally expect plus a small handful of Korean fusion breakfast items that looked interesting. I wasn't overly hungry, so I was quite pleased to see a number of smaller plates with even smaller prices. Honestly, many of the prices were shockingly low. I don't think I've seen this kind of value at a sit down breakfast for years. The quality of the food was perfectly fine for all of us, and I would comfortably say it was better than average. The ambiance of the restaurant was also better that what you would expect at more breakfast places. The service was acceptable, but not really any different that you would expect anywhere else.

Located a little away from the main hustle and bustle of Sylvan Lake, this restaurant is a hidden gem. The menu is diverse and the food is top-notch. The restaurant is cozy and clean, with affordable wine prices. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor patio, which is a downside for me during the summer months. My son enjoyed the Korean BBQ with Spiced Pork and Bulgogi Beef, which he found absolutely delicious. Both meats were tender and flavorful. I opted for the Risotto with Italian Sausage, which was also very tasty. I will definitely be back, and they also offer takeout options.

I recently went to Lokal for lunch and decided to order the steak alfredo. It was a great choice. The steak was cooked perfectly and the alfredo sauce had a delicious flavor. The addition of spinach and broccoli in the sauce allowed me to sneak in some veggies for the day. The other dishes at the table all looked appetizing as well. Lokal is a fantastic choice among the chain restaurants in Sylvan, offering a nice change from the usual options.

Had this last night and boy was it delicious. Good sized portions. Good service. The pasta was amazing. I wanted to eat it again tonight but too bad we left Sylvan Lake already :
