Lazy Hiker Brewing Co. - Sylva

Lazy Hiker Brewing was so awesome! Super friendly staff, excellent food and the beer was great. We had the garlic knots, highly recommended, garlic fries were incredible and Grass fed burger. So delicious. I had the Chocolate Pumpkin Pie Ale. OMG to diefor!!! So good. You have to go there, if you love beer and a family friendly fun atmosphere. ??????????

Overnight stay in Sylva had us exploring the downtown area near our motel. This place was ok. Decent selection of decent enough beers. Space was not that interesting. Not really inviting. Bartender obviously wanted to be anywhere but atwork. Did have a nice conversation with a couple of other folks at the bar but that was the only highlight of this stop.

What a cool tap room and vibe in the center of downtown Sylva. In what appears to be a gutted classic theater the place is roomy with a stage and outdoor patio. My IPA was not on the hoppy side, but had a delicious balance of apricot and vanilla to finish.I?ll definitely stop back again when in the area. Cheers!

Amazing beer selections and food options are provided by Mad Batter Kitchen located right next to the bar. Great combination!

We enjoyed our visit to Sylva and lunch and beers at this taproom. The beers were good and they have a kitchen on site with great food. My daughter was happy to have crayons to color with too!
