What User doesn't like about Wok Roll:
The dishes at this restaurant are quite inconsistent; it really depends on what you order, as well as the time of day and the chef's preparation. At times, the food can be a fantastic 10/10, while at other times it drops to a disappointing 3/10. Laksa was tasty, but the majority of it was all noodles. the bark was soft and easy to eat while the squid was hard. I wish there were more soup and protein than noodles.
So so Chinese takeaway joint. Sweet and sour sauce is too sour, and the pork battered pieces are very dark. They don't change the oil frequently which is a shame. Salted fish chicken fried rice, doesn't have enough salted fish pieces. A really disappointing meal. Some times the dishes are good, a bit of a hit and miss.
As soon as I got the plate and saw sprouts as the vegetables they use to go with roast duck and rice I knew they were cheaping out. The portion size of the duck was measly as well, barely filling for a $15 meal. Never again.
We picked up a take away frm here today. thai chilli chicken with rice. 2.portions costed us almost $40. it was terrible the quantity was inconsistent tasteless. i called them to complain the lady answered the phone and heard me complain to conveniently reply wrong number!!! unethical and shrewd people run this place.
CHEATS !! Ordered a whole roast duck takeaway, took it home and found pieces taken out. Be careful, they'll rip you off !!
