Does Crown Street and Sydney need more Thai food? In the Mood for Thai always seemed popular, and I liked the mood and decor, so was surprised when it closed down to be replaced by another Thai restaurant. At first glance, I couldn’t see the appeal: the prices for dinner seemed pretty high. I reckon if you’re going to spend that much, you could spend a little more and go to the various top-notch Thai eateries around... View all feedback.
Great Thai restaurant in the city area. Nice, posh environment. I had the beef Pad Thai was really delicious and very well presented. The service is quick and the staff are quite friendly. Plenty of seating space, expect to pay a tad bit more than normal.
Everything we ordered hit the spot! delicious salt and pepper calamari, curry puffs, chicken cashew nut and green curry chicken. And always surprised at how cheap it is to eat out Thai food $64.55 including corkage for 2
Very nice Thai food. Had the long cooked smoked wagyu beef and the barramundi with lime sauce, both delicious. Friendly service top.
Great dining experience with good atmosphere. The food is good. Only that the spring roll could have a thinner skin.
What a delightful little Thai restaurant in Surry Hills. This restaurant serves delightfully tasty food, has an excellent wine menu and a great ambiance. We ordered some starters the dim sum is delicious and my goodness! I’ve never seen bigger prawn crackers. Two grown men couldn’t finish their food: check out the size of the lamb shanks! Such a humongous serving, enough for two! Will definitely be back.
