"Hole-in-the-wall" cloths, and if it was not for the people to get a steaming bowl of fragrant Pho, they might think it was a Dodgy joint, but it is absolutely adorable. Not much about the ambience to say, somehow like a cafeteria atmosphere, but the food is well worth it. Broth is perfect, large number of toppings .. really fantastic. I take everyone I know here for lunch!.
What Ettie Kunze doesn't like about The Naughty Chef Pho:
Fantastic Pho. Dont try anything else, the Pho at Naughty Chef is fabulous. Unlike some asian restaurants, you never feel like you have consumed 1kg of MSG and lie awake half the night. The food is fresh, crisp flavours and really tastes like home cooked broth. Proper noodle soup is hard to come by, Naughty Chef has done well. View all feedback.
Great lunchtime noodles. We love coming here for lunch Yes it's a bit dingy. Yes, it's underground. But it still has a fun character to it. Simple, inexpensive and yummy grilled pork with noodles (or spring rolls with noodles) Top stuff.
I love this joint. Faster than light service and big flavors that you can find hard to beat in the CBD. You order your food and wait for the main area and then move a few doors into a special seating area with wall fans, bamboo walls and Vietnamese artworks. An authentic Vietnamese experience experience to say the slightest.
Pho-Mi-Table. I'm not a connoisseur of Pho, but as you say about art, I know what I like. And my chef's chef Pho. There are 3 key elements for the pho - the broth, the noodles and the meat. The noodles and meat were fine and the broth was really good. It was light, clear and pretty delical flavored. I first tried the broth himself - my tastes nodded in agreement; Then with lemon crowded together - my flavor forces clapped; And finally with fresh chili, my taste added a little luck. Naughty boss is very low and affordable - the Pho was $ 10 - and offers a seating area (not asking, I have no idea why). It is somewhat difficult to find. If you come from the East, you can go through the subway form Hunter connection, and it's just on the right side before continuing the steps to the Wynyard Station.
Without a doubt I can easily say that The Naughty Chef is probably one of the best, if not THE best place for pho towards this end of the CBD. The location right by the station is super convenient and the broth and noodles is perfect for a cold winter meal. fooddiarysyd.net
