Second time to dine here and it did not disappoint. Service was great, the food was fresh and delicious and still possessed a lovely ambient atmosphere despite being rush hour lunch time. My friends that joined me were very impressed with this little gem in the city, so its definitely worth the visit and I know I'll be back more often than not! View all feedback.
What Suzanne Kautzer doesn't like about Sushi & Grill @York Street:
Good Takeaway Sushi offers like 4 roles for only $ 10. Not easy to find rolls for $ 2.50. I had the feeling that they were a bit smaller than normal size, but after I had 4, I was reasonably satisfied, so it's not all too bad. Flavors for the Chili were stronger than other outlets, and I liked the shrimp very, although I do not normally not. I would probably return to good value, but I did not like the service at all... It is a Korean Run-Japanese restaurant (which you can tell of the flavors) and you always have such a nice, repellent service. ???? Ah well, as I said, it's just $ 10, so I'll take it ...
You will be surprised with the aroma, service and price. One of the best fine restaurants in Sydney. The atmosphere was also nice, especially if you like a bar and a restaurant atmosphere.
My girlfriend brought me around my birthday here. Overall, the food was excellent and great service. We served water on arrival, and they are BYO, which is unusual in the city. We had the big Sashimi plate to start what Lachskingfish, scallop and tuna had. Favorites were definitely the kingfish and salmon. Next we had Wagyu Salad, highly recommended. Meat was beautiful cooked, tender and good aromas in the salad. Next we had the king yarny with noodle. That was pretty good too. Large central location. Will definitely go back.
Really enjoyed this little place..gave us a taste of Japanese culture. My partner & I had 4 entrees - including the raw salmon, tofu, sushi & fried chicken. All were fresh & delicious and were the heroes of the degustation. The main dish was pork teryaki & rice..the serving was generous which left me unable to finish my dish. Staff are friendly and always attending to everyone's needs. Glad we tried this place :)
One of the most popular dinner sites of my high school group for meetings. This ranks so much because of a height of many things. Convenient to the townhouse station, a solid ambience, bookings, takes many people, friendly staff, relatively clean toilets, quiet area, takes split bills, solid food for quality prices. Key recommendation is the chicken Katsu Don for $ 15ish. Grief It's not much more to say, but it's a quality resort that is worth to try it! :)
