Description

Escalating Steps 9 is a rustic restaurant located in Sydney, offering a mix of Thai dishes. While some reviewers found the food to be flavorful and delicious, others were not as impressed with the taste and quality. The service was described as average, with some mentioning friendly staff while others complained about rude waitresses and slow service. The restaurant is recommended for those looking for cheap and quick Thai food in the CBD, but may not be the best choice for those looking for exceptional service. The dishes that received the most positive feedback included the roast duck, fish cakes, pad see ew, and grilled pork neck, which were praised for their taste and flavor. Overall, Escalating Steps 9 offers a mix of authentic Thai street food but falls short in terms of service quality.

Wow! this place is soou bad, I want to buy the whole place so I can turn it off. first, eating was ok, it was consumeable. second, the decoration and atmosphere was cool, they really feel like their in Thailand. Finally omg the service, I can literally not express how bad the service is. the waitress is rude, it was like she was born unhappy. she didn't say hi, thank you, her greeting that she didn't even tell us what was eating when it came out, she really made her feel that they shouldn't eat there, but it wasn't just this waitress it was all personal when we went over to pay the bill, they didn't want to come by. they kept talking to themselves and giggling while they stare at us. they finally came by and took care of our bill and finally we got one thanks after they took our money. / for anyone who reads that if you really want to eat hungry and really something good with good service, I would say to go somewhere else beside this terrible place if I live in sydney I would stand before the restaurant and pay people to eat somewhere because that is how bad I think this place is. / I hope you have my advice.

Another Thai restaurant in sydney city area. with mass consensation we have decided to try today at midday as we have always eaten in the thai near, but never here. Had f court today, who wrote crispy pork, roast pork on noodle.Order came really fast and the crispy pork is one of the best I tasted. but dig, I see no more than pieces crispy pork and all agreed, it also has chicken!? I like my gumy nude, but this is another level. is an understatement, more like wire stiff! Not sure whether the cook was in a hurry or they use the wrong nudel for my court, but in any case I almost crocheted on it until I have to cut my nudels as if I eat a new york cut steak. I went for dinner with two friends on a Monday evening. Quick service and value for money. The servings were reasonable in size. We had 3 beers, 3 meals with an entrée (shared) for $80. The chilli basil was a fire eater and would not recommend it to people not used to eating chilli. If you do, get some white rice or plenty of beer to keep the temperature down. The massaman beef curry had nice chunky pieces and would recommend together with the cashew nut chicken. The satay skewers were a nice choice for an entrée.
