the service was super, very friendly staff. the food was excellent, we really enjoyed our meals. I know it was a very cold night, but the restaurant could use a little more heating if that is possible. View all feedback.
What Amelie Hilpert doesn't like about Sea In The City:
The ambience was relaxing, except for the TV screens, loved the background music and the food was excellent, albeit a little more esoteric than expected. Service was very friendly and efficient. What more could one ask for? Would highly recommend as a pre theatre venue, which was what we needed and will certainly return the next time I need a pre theatre or concert dinner in the CBD. First time trying out this placeNot only did I have to wait 10 mins for them to cook me a simple fried rice, they served it with RAW CHICKEN.
A good choice if you're eating in the CBD and you don't want to spend a lot of money.
This is a part seafood, part chinese takeaway store in the food court. It is fairly cheap and you can get 1, 2 or 3 choices with rice. I only went here because I was starving and it was the only place without a line. I got chicken and vegetables with rice. Needed a bit more flavour but it was ok. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
Ah, I will probably not be in a hurry. It was only 12:30 clock, which is still relatively early in the lunch break, but everything on the display was already so overcooked. They give them great portions, but what is the point where food is not that great. Vegetables had a really strange, from setting taste and fish curry was fine, but only really overcooked. Noodles were very oily, but I expected so much.
Terrible Chinese food. If I can make better food at home, do not do a good job. I tried her years ago and it was over-cooked beef and oily food, but today I really wanted to have Singapore noodles and my usual store was closed. They took a long time to cook, and it had only 2 shrimps and tiny bits with roasted pork. Greatest waste of $ 11. Will not return or recommend.
