Description

Visitors to this Vietnamese restaurant have mixed feelings about the food. Many praise the freshness and quality of the dishes, with standout items like the rice paper rolls and lemongrass beef bowl earning high marks. However, some diners are less impressed, finding the pho lacking in authenticity and quality. Overall, Rolld offers a diverse menu with options for both traditional Vietnamese dishes and Westernized versions. The restaurant is a popular choice for a quick and satisfying lunch in the CBD, although diners looking for a more authentic Vietnamese experience may want to look elsewhere.

Had a light snack at their Bondi Junction store. We had CUON (Rice Paper Rolls).  These were nice, in line with my expectations. We also had a BANH MI (Viet Baguette).  The lemongrass beef tasted like it was boiled in soy sauce.  It was so salty (no other flavor in the meat) that I actually returned it.  I think the staff were perplexed being asked for a refund but it was inedible.I'm a bug fan of these simple, reasonably healthy, but very tasty baguettes (Bahn Mi).  Taste Baguette seem to do them well as far as fast food goes.  I'm surprised Rolld could not get it right.  I suspect, and hope, they just mucked up a batch of meat and this is not their normal dish.

As a huge lovers of Vietnamese food I was excited to see this venue far from my new work. With queues out of the door, a modern style and tempting photos of delicious food, I had great hopes for Roll'd. Grief Grief My staple - Phõ Bo - was available and so I went on and ordered. Unfortunately, the excitement ended. The bowl was small (and disposable plastic), the broth almost tasteless, and the portion of beef minimal. In addition, a part of the joy of Phõ for me comes in one side of the holy basil, beanprouts, fresh chili and mint leaves to add her broth as you like. A small sample of basil and a pile of beanprouts have already been added - as well as a minimal amount of chopped chillies. Grief Grief This seems to be the McDonalds of Vietnamese food. It does not have to be good, but when it is served quickly in a favorable area, it should succeed. Vietnamese food is more than that for me, so I do not look back.

This is a popular chain vietnamese Takeaway, which is a perfect CBD lunch option. The selection of Vietnamese rice paper rolls is extensive with its classics as well as high-quality options such as garlic charms and barramundi with avocado. The noodle salad with pork rolls or chicken Pho go to the options. You can definitely find a cheaper Vietnamese snack in the area, but Rolld is one of the authentic options.

Excuse me for pho. They should really stick with their merged rice paper rolls. I like the full of options and variations of roll, but if they are for pho and other nudelsuppen, that is where I draw the line. one of the worst and unauthentic pho’s I have experienced seemed to noodles of low quality as from a package mass production line. meat was underwhelmed in quality and suppe left much to wish. there are much better possibilities in the gateway building!
