Rockpool offers a mix of experiences for diners. While some were enthralled by the dark and impressive Art Deco design, top-notch service, and well-cooked food, others found the service lacking and the food not up to par on some visits. The venue, set in an old bank with high ceilings and marble everywhere, may not be suited for those seeking quiet conversation. However, the extensive wine list and overall dining experience left a lasting impression on many diners, with some even calling it one of their best dinners ever. Highly recommended for those willing to splurge for a memorable evening out.

The food was pretty decent at this restaurant. However service and attentiveness was less than desirable. I think this building was an old bank. Ceilings were extremely high and marble was everywhere which allow the noise to ricocheted off every single structure in the building

One of our best dinners ever! Such a nice memory of beautiful Sydney and if we were there longer or ever again, would certainly come for another incredible experience. Highly recommend

We love the atmosphere and the service at Rockpool. Unfortunately in this visit all of the food was not of the same high calibre that we have experienced in previous visits

Rockpool was exceptional, if a little expensive. Excellent food and service, with a massive, wellcurated wine list. If, like me, you love delving into wine lists, I suggest that you arrive minutes before your guests. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant but found the acoustics of the bar made for difficulty in having a conversation. I will return

Found this gem on a vacation to Sydney. Food and service was wonderful! Their wine list is absolutely incredible!!
