The newly opened Punjabi Fusion in Millers Point boasts a fine dining experience to tantalise the senses and take you out of your comfort zone. We had the opportunity to enjoy the 11 course degustation menu which took common Indian dishes and added a European twist. Great food with some interesting twists on Indian/Punjabi dishes. We came here for lunch and it had a good ambience with friendly staff (sounded like French accent? .
Been a while since I have been so blown away by a new restaurant. Indian fusion has generally been more miss than hit but Punjabi Fusion Sydney was an absolute Hit. One of the most elaborate menus I have encountered but well organised on a tablet. Each dish has a detailed description, ingredients, spice rating and other relevant information along with a picture. Every dish was immaculately and interestingly presented. Each of them perfectly spiced too. We walked away with the heaviest of stomachs and the widest of smiles. We will be back many times to try everything on the menu. And there is an early bird discount of 20% for weeknight dinners at 5:30, so it is not that taxing on the wallet either. Must try for modern Indian fine dining afficandos.
Thought we would try this newly opened restaurant. It was a bit quiet when we came for dinner which is a shame because the food is amazing! The chef has taken ordinary Indian comfort food and turn them into wondrous gastronomic creations. Must be seen to be believed, And the taste, while not 100% reminding me of the food from my childhood, has great flair and inventiveness. Highly recommended

Throughout the courses we tried numerous dishes ranging from Lamb Keema Kebab Bruschetta, to Activated Charcoal Butter Chicken right through to Beetroot and Carrot Pudding!. Being the Indian food lovers that we are, we were extremely surprised of the European twist and the flavours it pronounced. Service was impeccable and our waiter took the effort to explain to us each of the dishes and ensured we were catered to our every need.<br/
The highlight has to be the food, service and wine selection. Everything was perfect. Great concept venue for small meetings or big functions. Lived every bit of it, the two staff members of French decent on the floor made it special for us.We ordered grilled chicken, paneer n calamari. All of them were nicely done with a touch of difference.Highly recommend it.
