Description

Periyar Indian Restaurant has received mixed reviews from patrons. Some have had issues with incorrect billing and bland food, while others have praised the service, atmosphere, and authentic flavors. Despite some hiccups like noise levels and mix-ups in orders, the overall consensus seems to be that Periyar is a great spot for Indian cuisine on the northern beaches. With a relaxing atmosphere, attentive service, and unique dishes, it seems like Periyar is worth a visit for those looking for a quality Indian dining experience.

Something comforting about a place that will serve same good food consistently time and again. I have eaten there dozens of times, have taken away for us, dinner guests and have had them cater for party of 30. Delicious food...

Great butter chicken on the beach, they have a really nice team here and some really authentic dishes. They also do takeaway which is perfect for on the way home.

There are Indian Restaurants, then there are Indian Restaurants. Indian food with its complex cooking techniques and fine aromatic flavours, is difficult to get on point. By that critical measure and many others, Periyar Indian Restaurant is absolutely the best. I felt that I could literally sense and taste all the aromas coming together in a delectable three-course meal. Right from the presentation of the dishes, to the creativity and uniqueness of the recipes, I (who usually doesn't gorge on curries) fell in love with Indian food all over again. Special points to mini dosa (highly recommended). Snappy, and really friendly service!
