Panzerotti Bar - Sydney
Panzerotti Bar
Description
Discover a hidden gem in Melbourne thanks to a local recommendation for a cozy coffee spot. While the macchiato may have been a bit lacking in flavor, the flat white truly shines with its perfect balance of milk and coffee. The food, however, left much to be desired for one reviewer who found their pasta lacking in spice and portions smaller than remembered. Yet, another diner praises the restaurant for its authentic and freshly cooked pasta, even applauding the fast and friendly service. With a barista serving up creative coffee art and housemade Nutella-filled doughnuts, this spot is perfect for a quick lunch or a leisurely coffee break. Although the restaurant may get a little loud during peak times, the simple and well-executed pasta dishes truly steal the show at this charming eatery.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this gem of a restaurant steps from our downtown Sydney hotel. We were so happy with our breakfast selections! Hubby...
Panzerotti has done an excellent job of taking care of a bunch of Aussies in quarantine next door at the Amora Jamison hotel. Couldn't have done it without...
One of the best places to go for authentic, freshly cooked pasta. The dine in price is $20 but if you get takeaway, it's a lot cheaper. It's been a while since my last visit, but the portion size seemed a lot smaller than I remembered. Good, friendly and fast service.
I came here in the morning as it was one of the few places opened as early as I was. I got my last macadamia flat white coffee and the BLAT with an egg and...
Stopped in for coffee on chilly Friday morning at Timinmelbourne's recommendation thanks Tim!<br/ <br/ Macchiato 2.75/5<br/ <br/ The macc was presented nicely and the glass lukewarm to the touch. However, it was a little on the watery side with a teensy bit too much milk and milk froth (standard for a macc should be 2tsp, this looked like 3tsp). Once you taste the bottom (where all the pure espresso untouched by milk lies) smoky notes dominate the palate. Other flavors were a lot more subtle finished it before I could discern!<br/ <br/ Flat White 4/5<br/ <br/ The FW on the other hand, was a great pleasure to drink. The milk was perfectly textured and proportioned to the coffee. The previously smoky notes complimentarily accented the textured milk, adding a bit of much needed edge.<br/ <br/ Good amount of milk froth on top that sends you floating among pillowy clouds. It also insulates the coffee/milk mixture underneath from the cold biting morning air. This flat white undoubtedly beats the one at my previous go to joint near uni (Chambers Coffee).<br/ <br/ Just wish that their house blend had richer, deeper, and more complex flavors.<br/ <br/ Will be back to try the food!
